Job Description Summary

Join our dynamic team at GE Grid Solutions in Oberentfelden, a site for the development, production, and service of metal-enclosed, gas-insulated high-voltage switchgear, components, and drives. As a Technical Key User AC1 Configurator, you'll play a pivotal role in defining production structure/configuration rules for New Production Introduction projects.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Define with the R&D and engineering team the configuration rules within AC1 and create/implement the rules and type files

  • Define production’s structure in common work with the industrialization’s team members and create the BOM files accordingly

  • Apply modifications (new design, make or buy, logistical optimizations) within AC1

  • Participate in the New Production Introduction projects. Especially during the industrialization’s phase

  • Interact with other GIS Production units to align methods and processes for AC1 integration

  • The technical key user reports to the engineering leader (Fulfillment department)

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the GIS and/or FK/ME products and their different configurations is an advantage

  • Technical background & analytical working methods, production knowledge is a plus, understand technical drawings

  • IT affinity, SAP basic knowledge (Material-Master Data)

  • Language: fluent German and English, French is a plus
