Reference #: SEI1GLOBALR0029650EXTERNALENGLOBAL The Corporate Information Technology Team delivers unified communication and desktop technologies to the global SEI workforce utilizing infrastructure design, systems engineering, support and project management. What you will do: Technical workload management support of mainframe scheduling system, cross-platform scheduling and performance management tools

Monitor and enhance client service deliveries for product uptimes, transmissions, and statements Maximize batch throughput for end-of-month processing periods for intra-day, night work and statement processing Respond to automated event problem tickets, logs, and production exceptions Provide remediation analysis to alert messages concerning deadlines and exceptions Follow process and procedures to manage exceptions Log and communicate production and workload exceptions, special events, and other relevant information to day and night shift personnel Monitor DASD storage thresholds for SYSDA, DISK80, SRD and DRS storage pools and take remedial actions Participate in daily production status meetings

Incident and problem management Monitor scheduling system exception events for detection, remediation and follow-up Monitor, support and enhance production automation Diagnose and prioritize reported incidents to include abends, Connect:Direct node and process failures Perform impact assessment and remediation of vendor related production issues Provide and/or implement resolution and recovery procedures for Trust production exceptions and abends. Ensure data integrity as part of corrective-action Work with team on escalated issues and remediate as necessary Generate and distribute summary reports Interpret and provide enhancement recommendations on negative trends Participate in virtual teams for root cause analysis Identify and execute process production improvements

Change management Coordination and execute enterprise change control activities within the production environment Support for project activities for PB&T Project Management Office including client new starts, acquisitions, merges and deconversions Support for Service Team projects

Production fulfillment services Review and process requests for changes to production processing environment for one-time changes to production schedules with regard to special handling of problems and execution instructions Provide Support documentation for production process enhancements and update internal operating procedures

Disaster recovery and Release support Participate in planning, enhancing and execution of special events, such as Disaster Recovery tests, hardware and software releases.

What we need from you:

BA/BS degree in related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience Minimum of 10 years in Mainframe processing and support Proficiency with JCL, ISPF, IBM utilities, VSAM, File-Aid and Connect: Direct In depth knowledge of CA-Scheduler Familiarity with Service Now Understanding and use of IBM System Automation for z/OS performance monitoring tools An understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices Very effective client service and phone skills PC literacy in Microsoft Office product suite
