Aerotek Electrical Assembler in Oakland Park, Florida

Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Assembler where you will be crucial in building large printing machines used for a variety of applications, including putting lines on syringes. Your daily responsibilities will include wiring devices and panels for custom machines, preparing wires and cables, fastening finished ends to a terminal block or connectors, routing of wires/cables, installing ducting/wireway for wires, and mounting of components. Additionally, you will also be involved in drilling, tapping for fasteners, labeling devices and wiring, and organizing work areas to safely execute daily job duties. This is a temp-to-hire position with a 40-hour work week and potential for 1-5 hours of overtime.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oakland Park, Florida.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and air-conditioned, based in a manufacturing setting. You will be part of a 15-person assembly team. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm. You are required to wear steel-toed boots and have your own hand tools. Protective eyewear is provided to be worn on the assembly/production floor. No medical certifications are required. Personal Protective Equipment required includes steel toes and eyewear.
