Kaiser Permanente VP, Asst Treasurer - Cash Mgmt in Oakland, California
The Vice President and Assistant Treasurer, Cash Management has overall responsibility for the banking, merchant processing and cash management functions for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and its subsidiaries. In addition, the position provides support to the medical groups and other entities affiliated with Kaiser.
Direct Cash Management operations for all markets and departments.
Direct all cash management banking relations including the overall bank administration for all regions and departments.
Develop, recommend and implement new banking services for the markets and departments.
Direct merchant processing.
Oversee payment card relationships. Business liaison for Payment Card Security compliance.
Direct the short-term cash forecast process and manage short term working capital, including short term investing and commercial paper borrowing.
Direct month end cash management process and oversee information provided to General Accounting for recording and reconciling.
Leads new payment solutions.
Responsible for point of sale solutions.
Direct Treasury Self-Funding process which includes complex self-funding banking structure and credit analysis of potential self-funding plan sponsors.
Develop Treasury policies and procedures. Monitor compliance with policies.
Oversee the administration of the daily cash process, using the Treasury Management system; coordinate the reporting and distribution of banking information to the markets and departments.
Responsible for integration of acquired entities into the Kaiser cash management structure and process.
Treasury representative on corporate and market initiatives including new healthcare products, payment card processes and applications, and digital payment solutions.
- Minimum ten years of work experience in Treasury in a large corporation required
- Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in finance required
License, Certification, Registration
Extensive knowledge of cash management.
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Treasury, including treasury management systems, investments, debt management and finance.
Extensive knowledge of merchant card processing and PCI compliance.
Extensive knowledge of point of sale/service systems.
Certified Treasury Professional preferred
