Dreisbach Enterprises Part-Time Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Oakland, California

This is a part-time shift, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.

PM Shift 1:30PM start to 10pm depending on the weekly schedule.

$19+/hr

At Dreisbach Enterprises we pride ourselves on being a dedicated, reliable, and trusted cold chain supply partner. We have over a half-century of experience managing fresh, chill, and frozen food warehousing and distribution. We are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Oakland facility. Working within our Shipping and Receiving office this position will ensure daily operations are handled smoothly, professionally, and accurately.

We seek a detailed individual that can keep a calm and positive demeanor while working under pressure. Someone that can learn new tasks quickly and efficiently, is well organized and is great at multi-tasking.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling inbound and outbound deliveries of freight by phone

  • Validating inbound delivery receipts and accurately completing paperwork

  • Generating shipping documents for the warehouse employees and checking in and signing out drivers.

  • Photocopy documents, collate, assemble and distribute materials

Requirements

  • Data entry is a must along with knowledge of programs within the Microsoft Office

  • Previous experience using a Warehouse Management System along with a background in processing Shipping/Receiving documents. (Bills of Ladings, Pick Sheets, Inventory Sheets, Schedules, POD's, USDA Certs.)

  • Excellent communication skills and able to work within a team of other clerical and warehouse employees.

  • Ability to photocopy documents, collate, assemble and distribute materials

  • Must be very accurate, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced setting
