Position Summary To implement suicide prevention activities aimed at improving the overall mental health status of the community. The work will involve coordination of suicide prevention, developing and implementing suicide prevention programs such as QPR, implementing training for community members for recognizing at-risk behavior, and improving access to the CrisisTextLine service. The work will also involve collaborations with the local schools, work sites, law enforcement, businesses and other community organizations identified in Hennepin, Sherburne, Wright, and Stearns County. Applicants should be located in or near the assigned region. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Public Health Education or closely related field Public speaking Work in the mental health field Forming and maintaining effective organizational partnerships Preferred Qualifications Public Health Educator Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations As an essential healthcare provider, Canvas Health follows all local, state, and federal guidelines regarding COVID-19 precautions.
