Position Summary:

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, NA Strategic Sourcing to drive innovation and optimize our supply chain strategy. In this pivotal role, you will lead Hach’s Strategic Sourcing team across Europe and North America, overseeing commodity strategies for Electronics, Chemistry, Mechanical Components (Plastics, Metals & MRO), and OEM categories. By managing supplier relationships and fostering continuous improvement, you will directly impact the future of water quality technology for a cleaner, safer world.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Purpose: Inspire and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of inclusivity, professional growth, and collaboration.

  • Shape Strategy: Develop and execute cutting-edge commodity strategies, maximizing cost efficiency, quality, and supply chain resilience.

  • Deliver Results: Drive KPIs for Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Supplier On-time Delivery (OTD), Contract and Supplier Risk Management (SRM), and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) to support Hach’s financial performance and business goals.

  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with Finance, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to create seamless cross-functional synergies.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor global market trends and use data-driven insights to adapt sourcing strategies, ensuring we remain competitive in a dynamic marketplace.

Who You Are:

You are a strategic thinker and an inspiring leader, with a proven track record of success in supply chain management. You are passionate about mentoring teams, building long-term supplier relationships, and driving results. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a deep commitment to ethical leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Minimum of 12 years of supply chain experience, with expertise in strategic sourcing.

  • Demonstrated success in people management and team development.

  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).

  • Experience with ERP systems, strategic planning, and negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or supply chain management.

  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with global market conditions impacting supply chain management.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $150,000.00 - $185,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
