Responsible for requirements identification, plan, develop, test and document programs. Evaluate user request for new or modified program, reports, process, analyze and develop specifications for design, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities. Analyze technical reports to develop programs meeting user requirements. Utilize PL/SQL coding and complex SQL queries. Design processes for reports for Business Requirements Specification; Consult with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Convert project specifications, use flowcharts and diagrams for logical coding into language as processed by computer. Preparing test cases, developing test strategies and test plans; Analyze, review, and alter program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Coordinate with other technical team members onsite/offshore for deployment/code migration effort. Prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involved. Requirements:Requires Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, MIS or related plus 12 months exp. as computer software professional. Will accept BS equivalency based upon combination of education and experience as determined by professional evaluation service.
