    The Treasury Analyst is responsible for daily cash management; to include bank transfers, deposits, disbursements, net daily investing or borrowing activity, and any other activities processed through the company’s bank accounts. The Treasury Analyst performs this through the use of daily bank balance reporting systems and information provided by other departments. The Treasury Analyst also assists with bank account maintenance.

    Essential Functions:

  • Exhibit proactive communication; act and think with the customers in mind. Primary business partners include bank customer service representatives and other company departments.

  • Monitor daily cash management through the use of online reporting tools with the company’s bank(s) and Excel in order to determine the company’s cash position for the day; this leads to determining investment and borrowing decisions. This is then reviewed by the manager.

  • Upon a daily cash position being determined as defined above, bank transfers, deposits, disbursements, and net daily investing/borrowing activities are performed through online banking tools.

  • Accountable for all cash flow transactions through journal entry during the month. Accuracy in journal entries is imperative to accurately report monthly activity and ensure a smooth, accurate monthly accounting close.

  • Assist in updating the consolidated cash flow report daily to provide detail on daily and current day corporate account activity.

  • Monitor activity to ensure daily file collection routine runs as required, as well as setting up new accounts or closing unnecessary accounts.

  • Create reports and analysis as needed for the Treasury Department.

  • Financial analysis of new treasury initiatives.

  • Cross train and learn payment reporting and processes.

    Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a corporate treasury and/or finance environment preferred.

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred but not required.

    Other Skills and Abilities Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.

  • Capable of working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

  • Effective communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.

  • Proficient time management, organizational skills and ability to meet established deadlines.
