About the Role In this role you will guide the Intelligent Cockpit Strategic Business Unit's operations for the Product and Platform organization, working with the operations teams within these organizations. The HARMAN product portfolio is planned to generate annual revenue of greater than $3.5B for the SBU and includes over 1300 engineers globally. This includes planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing business operations for these teams. This also includes working with global manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturing footprint capacity meets current and future roadmap for projects in the region.

What You Will Do

Support the Intelligent Cockpit business unit with day-to-day business operations at peak efficiency, developing and executing the "rhythm" for business operations.

Ensure the HARMAN Resource Management Process is executed, tracking changes to project staffing needs and ensuring accuracy in the data and the reporting.

Coordinating reviews for hiring requests to ensure alignment with the latest product business case and change requests.

Develop Operation Review material along with the product operations teams, ensuring a single source of data is used in a consistent way.

Drive resolutions of procurement and production issues that impact the profitability of the SBU.

Driving achievement of SBU targets in terms of Schedule, Budget, Cost, and Transformational Goals related to your region.

Support SBU contributions to the Automotive division's profitability initiative for the Product and Platform organization.

Interfaces with supporting organizations and provides reporting data for making key decisions.

Presents performance reports and metrics to the SBU and Divisional leadership as needed.

What You Need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering

10+ years of industry-related experience

Fundamental knowledge in terms of Project Lifecycle Management methodologies, PM processes in project execution, project management, and process implementation.

Experience with Agile Methods (SCRUM), especially as it relates to project-level information and reporting.

Excellent organizational skills and comfort with detailed information, including financial, technical tasks and workstreams, and deliverables/action items

Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

In-depth understanding of all the supporting business functions and principles.

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to have effective communication at all levels of the organization.

What Makes You Eligible

Be willing to travel up to 15%, domestic and international travel

Be willing to work in an office in Novi MI (hybrid; must be local to the Metro Detroit area)
