THE OPPORTUNITY

Job summary

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join us at Iron Mountain. The Global Project Manager will be responsible for the Project Management of a large HR service transition. The role will have global remit and will be remote working. The position is offered on a fixed term contract basis until June 2025.

Your role in our mission:

  • Project Management of a large HR service transition (Tier 1 & Tier 2), in conjunction with the service provider

  • Co-create and manage a detailed project plan for successful implementation and handover to BAU

  • Establish and oversee the development of the post-project service and process improvement plan

  • Work closely with the service provider and the Program team

  • Works with the region to determine the required resources inside and outside of the core project team to ensure successful project implementation

  • Monitor and communicate project status to the Workstream lead and the programme to ensure forward project progress, escalating when required. Balance the critical dimensions of the agreed project scope, schedule and cost.

  • Document and manage risks, issues opportunities and actions log items ensuring timelyrecording, reporting and escalation as/if required, in conjunctions with the service deliver provider

  • Make data-driven decisions across the project lifecycle in the context of the broader Program needs

  • Partnership: build and nurture relationships within the core project team and stakeholders

  • Lead individual project tasks/activities to ensure operational readiness for post-project handover

  • Take initiative, manage projects independently, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Valued skills and experience:

  • Project Management certification/s

  • Substantial experience in project management, preferably leading HR projects (but not essential)

  • Experience in working cross country and cultures

  • Strong sense of urgency and results orientation

  • Fluent in English

  • Willing to adapt to working with teams in different time zones / across the globe

  • Knowledge of Project management software (e.g. Smartsheet, Monday.com)
