Position: Fleet Manager - UK
Job Overview: We're seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to spearhead the strategic management of our vehicle fleet in the UK. With a fleet of approximately 450 vehicles, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and alignment with our mission to #letssolvewater. Reporting directly to the Operations Director UK&I, you'll provide strategic counsel to senior leadership while ensuring the availability of appropriate vehicles to our teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive fleet strategy, assessing vehicle performance, costs, and suitability to meet current and future business needs.
Implement robust data tracking practices, including mileage, repair requests, fuel management, and maintenance rates, to optimize fleet operations.
Drive cost and data analysis initiatives to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and carbon footprint reduction.
Oversee the development and administration of the Fleet annual budget, monitoring expenditures and implementing adjustments as needed.
Provide insightful management reporting on vehicle and equipment costs, as well as usage patterns.
Requirements:
Membership of a relevant professional body.
Comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements related to vehicle fleet operations.
Recognized qualification in vehicle or transport engineering (highly desirable).
