City of Woonsocket LEAD CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST in Not Listed, Massachusetts

The Lead Construction Specialist is a non-union, non-classified position reporting to the Lead Hazard Program Manager. The Lead Construction Specialist is responsible for working with property owners enrolled in the Lead Hazard Reduction Program, a HUD-funded program that assesses and remediates lead hazards in residential units. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: conducting unit inspections, managing contractor bidding process, selecting lead- safe contractors, as well as monitoring progress of all on-site lead abatement projects. Must have five (5) years of experience in housing construction or rehabilitation, project cost estimation, lead abatement specifications writing, thorough knowledge of lead inspection reports and building plans. Must have a thorough knowledge of State and Federal Lead Based Paint regulations, as well as possess all licenses, training, and/or certification as required by law and/or regulation.
