responsibilities:

In this role, you will be an essential member of our testing team, using your laboratory experience to conduct and analyze a variety of key assays. This six-month contract position offers the opportunity to leverage your scientific skills and contribute meaningfully to our research projects. Your role will involve both independent work and collaboration with a team, providing valuable insights that drive our scientific progress.

  • Execute a range of routine biological and chemical assays, including but not limited to, pH measurement, Osmolality, Conductivity, Coulter Counter, and Methylene Blue.

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of buffer solutions according to standard procedures.

  • Record, analyze, review, and interpret experimental data.

  • Contribute to the upkeep of the laboratory by managing supplies, maintain laboratory instruments and ensuring a clean work environment.

  • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures in the laboratory.

  • Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

qualifications:

Required

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.

  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 0 - 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Preferred

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a biological, chemical, or clinical laboratory setting.

  • Proficiency in pH, osmolality, conductivity (USP), Coulter Counter, and methylene blue staining assays.

  • Proven track record of adhering to strict experimental protocols and SOPs, with a history of maintaining comprehensive and detailed laboratory notebooks and records.

  • Strong analytical acumen with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication for effective reporting and collaboration.

  • Solid understanding of laboratory safety procedures and best practices.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges.
