$19.34 - $27.08 per hour, depending on experience. Licensed Practical Nurse - Family Practice Norwich, FT, Days / Overview United Health Services Chenango Memorial Hospital

Family Practice Norwich - LPN Full-time, Days, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m

Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500.

Early-career candidates may qualify for up to $12,500 in tuition forgiveness.

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

Education/Experience Minimum Required: Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing Preferred: N/A License/Certification Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit Preferred: Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing, and lifting.

  • Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.

  • Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.

  • PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
