Candidates with the following credentials should immediately apply:

  • Must have a current CDL Class A License
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must have a DOT Medical Card
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing to complete a USDOT Drug Screen
  • Willing to complete a Road Test
  • Prior Forklift Experience (Sit Down) or willingness to become trained

Job Duties and Required Skills

  • Operate a tractor-trailer in safe efficient manner.
  • Complete handling of paperwork in timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate good time management skills. Self-directed
  • Report to work on time and dependable.
  • Report and verify damages short counts.
  • Transport merchandise between Furmano's and several local outside storage locations.
  • Load and unload pallets by hand.
  • Safely operate forklift and hand jack.
  • Have a cooperative attitude and work as a team player.
  • Perform customer deliveries as needed.
  • Assist with yard jockeying as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues to the mechanics.
  • Use computer systems and perform transactions through Furmano's WMS.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

1st Shift - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday (Typically)40 hrs +

Starting at $22.62 hourly also, you can make an additional $.25 per hour w/safety bonus for no safety violations or traffic citations for a max of $22.87 hourly.
