Aerotek General Production Worker in Northumberland, Pennsylvania

Job Description

We are seeking batchers, Palletizers, and machine operators to help support their batching department. This company fills high - acid foods into jars.

  • understand and execute all batching paperwork and related processes

  • coordinate, monitor, preform all pre-batching and batching functions required to properly execute published formulations

  • blend ingredients according to procedure sheet

  • record all sets, check samples to make sure requirements have been met

  • record all lot numbers, testing results and have supervisor sign off to transfer product

  • tear down and clean work area according to established procedures when shift is complete

Job Requirements

  1. Manufacturing or production experience

  2. Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours

  3. Ability to work well in teams

  • Batchers: (must be able to up to 100lbs regularly)

  • Machine Operators: (must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally)

  • Packers

  • Cooks

  • Floaters


1s/2nd/3rd -12 hour shift (Monday to Thursday); well shortly transition to a 2 on 3 off, then 3 on 2 off schedule.

Uniform Policy

Clean clothing , pants (no holes), hair net, safety shoes (non slip, closed toes), no jewelry, no perfumes, lab coats may be issued.
