UL, LLC IT Technical Senior Analyst in Northbrook, Illinois

  • Develops and designs technology within network, communication, and hardware systems.

  • Performs complex analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs.

  • Develops design specification and deliverables that support of system enhancements.

  • Collects and analyzes information regarding technology processes and systems.

  • Designs elements of the network infrastructure, plans, and designs.

  • Performs capacity and resource analysis and planning.

  • Supports the planning, designing, and development allocation requirements of the enterprises various telecommunications platforms.

  • Leads project work for other technical IT functions including Data Security and Disaster Recovery.

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally seven years of directly related experience.

  • Working technical IT experience in area(s) of specialty.
