Maintenance and Landscape Assistant

We are Lumen Nature Retera, a premier hospitality destination with accommodations in North Woodstock and Warren, NH. We are currently looking to fill the role of Maintenance and Landscape Assistant on a part-time basis available to work in both locations. The Maintenance and Landscape Assistant will work on multiple aspects of general property maintenance like lawn care, pest control , light carpentry, small repairs, and hospitality operations in order to maintain the properties in excellent condition and ensure the guests have a great experience.

This part-time position is open for someone available to work 2-3 days every week. Working days could be flexible based on the candidate's availability.

===Responsabilities==

==Structures Maintenance== *Handle any maintenance or minor repair around the glamping tents and Cabins equipment (fire pits, picnic tables, heaters) or common areas (bathhouse) as assigned by the General Manager. *Work and assist the General Manager to coordinate and execute any larger repairs as needed. *Handle power washing of the bathhouse, A Frame Tents, and other structures. * Perform maintenance inspections looking to address any repairs needed in both properties.

==Landscaping== *Maintain and enhance roads, pathways and areas between the sites. *Mow the lawn on the property in general. *Handle pest spraying on a regular basis to limit the amount of pests we have on the property. *Perform snow removal tasks on the property during winter months. *Raking, leaf blowing, and clearing brush from trails. Removing any hazards.

==Housekeeping and Contractors= *Work closely with the Housekeeping team in order to ensure each site is ready to receive guests. *Assist work with any external contractors as needed. *Perform Quality Control inspections to make sure sites and accommodations are ready to receive guests.

==Operations= *Work closely with our Remote Operations Team and General Manager to address any issues with guests or property so guests can have a great experience. *Assist in dealing with any problem guests on the ground. *Execute other tasks that may also need to be performed throughout the year to ensure the year-round operations of the properties.

===Reporting to===

The Part-Time Maintenance and Landscape Assistant will report to the General Manager (GM) and will work closely with the Assistant Manager, Housekeeping, and Remote Operations team to handle tasks in both properties.

===Compensation and Scheduling===

This role is compensated as follows: *Hourly basis up to 16-22 hours per week. *$24/h

===Desired Competencies and Skills===

*Landscaping experience/knowledge. *Light carpentry or handyman skills. *Capable of using different maintenance tools and equipment. *Pest control. *Great communication skills. *Technology friendly capable of using smartphone apps.
