Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. As an innovative company offering a wide array of products, we strive to continuously develop new technology and drive process improvement.

 

We are currently seeking a Production Planner to play a key role within our organization. This person will utilize their data-centric mind to extract data from within our ERP system to help plan and schedule the work throughout our shop. The Production Planner is responsible for utilizing data to develop schedules.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze data from our ERP and other systems to help create current and forecasted needs
  • Create, update, and maintain schedules for multiple departments
  • Create jobs and priorities based on the current and projected needs of the company
  • Analyze inventory levels across multiple phases of manufacturing to understand priority needs and job sizes
  • Communicate scheduling conflicts with management throughout the production process
  • Assist the Material Handlers with production needs
  • Utilize Epicor to track the status of current jobs and update the production team with any discrepancies during the production process

     

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including strong Excel experience)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer software
