We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines within a production facility to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. The Machine Operator will work closely with the production team to meet production targets, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain various machines and equipment, including presses, to meet production targets.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Program logic controllers and perform routine calibrations to ensure machine precision.
  • Utilize hand tools and other specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement CAM programming to optimize production processes.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Use a caliper to measure and inspect products and equipment.
  • Perform routine machining tasks to ensure production quality.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to safety protocols and standards.

Experience: The successful candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing facility, with a strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance. A background in machining and mechanical knowledge is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting production targets and ensuring high-quality products. Experience with hand tools and a caliper is also required.
