Job Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated O365 Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be involved in design, implementation, and day to day support of our Office 365 environment. This individual will play a crucial role in optimizing our collaboration and productivity tools while ensuring the security and efficiency of our O365 platform. Key Responsibilities include: Architect, design, and implement Office 365 solutions to meet business requirements. Configure and customize O365 applications, including SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate O365 with existing systems. Provide day-to-day administration and support for the Office 365 environment. Monitor and maintain system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Manage Identity Access Management, O365 permissions, and access controls. Implement and enforce security best practices for O365 applications such as Conditional Access, MFA. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Conduct regular security audits and assessments. Plan and execute migration projects from legacy systems to Office 365. Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on O365 applications. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent MS certifications Proven experience as an O365 Engineer or similar role. Experience with O365 security and compliance features. Strong understanding of Active Directory and other related technologies. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Additional roles Support the Hybrid messaging environment (Exchange 2016 / 2019 and O365). Query Exchange Environment with Exchange Online PowerShell Module. In-depth knowledge of various features and configurations available in Exchange 2016, Roles and Services of Exchange 2016, High availability (DAG), Messaging Policies and Compliance, Configuring Reporting and Logging, Permissions and Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Transport Rules. Sound Knowledge on O365 features like Advanced Threat Protection, Safe Links. Good understanding and work experience of Anti-Spam and Anti-virus applications and products like various email gateways Mimecast, Exchange online protection. Good understanding of DNS, E-Mail Routing, Email Tracking, SMTP / Application Mail Relay, Backup and Restore, Disaster Recovery concepts. Implementation of email security standards such as DKIM, SPF and DMARC. Work with global colleagues to provide globally consistent processes and solutions. Investigate & Troubleshoot root causes when escalated from operations. Manage problem resolution to a satisfactory completion by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and follow the proper escalation process via ticketing system (Jira). Experience with supporting anti-spam filtering, logging, and email tracking and transport rules. Good exposure to managing Conditional Access Policies. Support eDiscovery projects. Support Single Sign-On using Active Directory Federation Services with Multifactor Authentication. Left Shift Level 1 incidents to Service Desk team with documentation and train the team on that. Perform scripting administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell. Develop scripts for automating processes within the environment. Perform migrations and deployments related to the building, upgrade and maintenance of MS Exchange. Create user guides and instructional documents for end-users. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, effective communication of changes or disruptions to the schedule with a focus on expectation alignment. Work with team lead and peers to proactively suggest areas of improvements and enhancements. Conducting regular health checks and maintenance activities for optimal device performance.
