Job Title: Senior Technical Business Analyst Division: Minnesota Role Alignment: Business Analysis Project Management Status: Open | | Senior Technical Business Analyst This person ensures that applications in development are system tested and partners in the creation and execution of functional test plans. This position assists with interpreting business needs into technical requirements, business prioritization of IS&T work efforts, and obtaining the appropriate approvals and documentation for change management planning. This position works across IS&T Groups to coordinate and prioritize deliverables in order to meet business partners' needs. The person in this position ensures that business management is informed of potential issues with service availability and data integrity. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or 6+ years IS&T experience * Knowledge of two or more programming languages (ex. PL/SQL, .Net, AngularJS, DataStage) * 3+ years experience in workflow management and IS&T incident resolution * 1+ years experience in small- to medium-sized project management/leadership * 2+ years experience in current healthcare software/hardware technology PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1+ years experience in current healthcare software and/or hardware technology ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Develops technical specifications; consulting on technical design to align with business needs. * Analyzes and interprets IS&T's business partners needs into functional requirements. * Reviews application problems, creating and documenting function and technical specification for the solutions. * Serves as a liaison between business partners and application development team members to analyze, document, and validate functional requirements. * Leads internal projects to support and/or improve business processes. * Designs screens, reports, and dataflow to align with business needs. * Documents business priorities for IT service changes; triaging and overseeing actions, changes to priorities, and issues regarding those requests for the application development staff.
