Your Opportunity: Card Fulfillment Services, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 1st Shift Team Lead to join them in N. Mankato, MN. Responsible for managing staff and materials in order to meet department schedules while accurately keeping all related records and documents. This position is responsible for training in new employees and working individually with current employees, while providing them knowledge on the departmental policies, procedures, and tasks. This position acts as a role model for all employees on the team. Additionally, this position should be able to recognize real and potential problems and clearly communicate information and data to the Production Supervisor. Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Saturdays when needed Your Responsibilities: Workflow on a daily basis along with a pass down communication to each shift Checking past due orders and get them moving Conduct visual checks of machinery and escalate any problems to leadership and maintenance Contribute to the team's production goals Understand and comply with all departmental policies and procedures Maintain a clean, organized work area Provide frequent updates to Production Supervisor regarding issues and problems in the department as well as provide ideas for potential solution Responsible for acting as a positive role model to team members You Must Have: Organizational skills Ability to operate office equipment (this may include computer, phone, printer, scanner, copier and fax machine) Ability to operate production equipment We Would Also Prefer: Experience in management or as a team lead but not necessary High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year in a manufacturing environment Successful set up and troubleshooting exercises in a production setting Leadership experience About Taylor Corporation One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
