MOONLIGHT DIESEL INC Lube Technician in NORTH LOGAN, Utah

We are looking for a Lube Technician with diesel truck knowledge and experience.  You need to be a hard-working, dedicated individual who can work with minimal supervision, keep the work area clean and hazard free, and have the desire to learn new skills.  A lube technician helps maintain and service customers' vehicles.  To be successful as a lube technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

Quickly and professionally complete maintenance tasks on customers' vehicles

·   Drain oil from vehicle and replace it with manufacturer specifications.

·   Top off other fluids, including brakes, power steering and washer fluids.

·   Inspect engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues.

·   Check tire pressure and fill tires with air as needed.

·   Install new parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, brakes, and batteries.

·   Lubricating moving parts as necessary

·   General inspections

·   Keep vehicle interiors clean while performing tasks.

 

Qualifications

  •    Aptitude for mechanical diagnosis & repair                   

*     Must have a good driving record

*     Demonstrate experience with servicing vehicles                                               

*     Must be 18 years of age            

*     Pass a drug screening & criminal background check                                         

*     Must have own hand tools & toolbox    

*     Effective communication                                                                                 

*     Time management & organizational skills

*     Hand-eye coordination                                                                                   

*     The ability to read & follow directions   

*     Ability to bend & reaching                                                                             

*     Standing for long periods of time

*     Ability to decern worn/broken components for possible failure
