Employee works with students and staff that use Edgenuity for original credit or credit recovery. Employee tracks progress for the on-line software, encourages students and reports data to counseling team as well as administration. Employee will have their own space and supervise the students using the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability/desire to work with a secondary age group.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Knowledge and experience in technology.

  • Experience working with at-risk youth (preferred).

  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the District may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO: OnLine Learning Coordinator, building principal

SUPERVISES: Supervises students working on blended online learning classes.

JOB GOALS: Monitor and provide support for students to successfully complete Edgenuity in order to enhance student learning, promote the overall efficiency of the school system, and maximize the educational opportunities available to each child.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete the required training.

  • Manage students needs in Edgenuity while supervising their work time in the lab.

  • Enforce established rules and guidelines associated with the program and lab environment.

  • Provide accurate recordkeeping to the Blended Online Learning Coordinator/school for grades/credit.

  • Work with teachers to arrange supports for struggling students.

  • Other duties as assigned

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the District’s policy on Evaluation, State Statute, and any applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
