Summary Statement

As a ShipConstructor Administrator at Senesco Marine, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and administration of ShipConstructor software within our organization. You will be responsible for configuring, managing, and optimizing ShipConstructor systems, databases, and integrations to streamline our ship design and production processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of shipbuilding operations.

ShipConstructor Administrator would be responsible of conducting training sessions and providing ongoing user support to ensure effective utilization of ShipConstructor functionalities and best practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company design standards throughout the ShipConstructor implementation process.

This role requires a self-starter who can identify process improvements and optimization within the ShipConstructor environment to enhance productivity and quality of work. This must be done while applying problem-solving abilities and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively within the database implementation process.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipbuilding or maritime engineering, with a focus on ship design and production.

  • ShipConstructor Software expertise in database management, configuration, and customization.

  • Strong technical skills in AutoCad3D, Navisworks and other relevant software tools in the shipbuilding industry.

  • Proven track record of implementing software systems and integrations within complex Engineering Environments.

  • Project Management Experience would be preferred with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute ShipConstructor implementation projects among the team.

Work Demands

  • The employee is required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to respirator, hardhat, face shield, safety goggles, safety shoes (steel toe), safety harness, gloves or other protective clothing as determined by a Senesco Marine Job Hazard Analysis.

  • The employee must report all accidents or injuries to their supervisor and the Environmental Safety and Health Department.

  • The employee must report to their supervisor any and all damages to equipment or broken and misused tools.

  • The employee may be working in several different areas and environments; this includes work inside and outside of buildings or structures.

  • The employee needs to work at a pace consistent with meeting company deadlines.
