Whitsons Culinary Group Food Service Worker/Cashier - Conway Kennett High School in North Conway, New Hampshire

Responsibilities: * Prepare and serve food following recipes, portion guide, and yield guide * Run cash register during lunch service if assigned * Perform assigned cleaning duties and maintain a clean food prep/register area * Follow dishwashing and mopping rotation schedule * Set up and breakdown hot/cold cafeteria serving lines including cleaning * Restock food and beverages in cafeteria severy following First In, First Out (FIFO) method * Comply with food safety and sanitation standards during food prep, service and cleanup * Use food thermometer to ensure minimal internal cooking temperatures reached * Date mark food products in accordance with MA Food Code * Help complete production records by recording portions produced and portions leftover before and after service * Interact with students and school staff in friendly manner * Assist in keeping storage spaces for food and equipment organized * Clean and sanitize cafeteria tables * Assist other team members in task completion as needed * Follow Whitsons and school district policies including Uniform and Cell Phone Policies * Perform other job duties assigned * High school diploma or equivalent * 1 year professional food service experience and/or 1 year cash handling experience * Experience using computerized point-of-sales (POS) system or willingness to learn * Proficient customer service skills * Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job tasks * Various physical requirements including, but not limited to, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, pushing, and pulling * Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards per health department regulations and Whitsons policies * Flexibility in assigned work duties * Willingness to work as part of a team * Able to pass a background check * Positive and professional attitude Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
