responsibilities:

  • Supports global laboratories with ongoing projects related to chromatographic data management.

  • Interprets laboratory test methods related to chromatography for the calculations and formulas needed to generate results.

  • Compiles custom calculation fields in the chromatographic data system (Empower) which are needed to calculate laboratory results in the system. Updates Empower report method to display results.

  • Drafts documents which will serve as guidelines for the laboratory to use the Empower calculations to generate results.

  • Follows calculation validation processes related to laboratory quality applications.

  • Reports to Quality Systems support team.

qualifications:

  • Laboratory analyst with chromatography experience, preferably Empower.

  • Lab administration, supporting quality systems used by the laboratory.

  • Understanding of laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

  • Scientific background with experience following analytical test methods.
