ASM Global Ticket Office Coordinator in North Charleston, South Carolina

POSITION: Ticket Office Coordinator

TYPE: Hourly Non-Exempt/Full-time

DEPARTMENT: Ticket Office

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant Ticket Office Managers

General Statement of Duties:

This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day business of the Ticket Office.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Opens and/or closes the Ticket Office during scheduled shifts.

  • Provide Sellers with banks and Will Call at the start of a working day.

  • Reconcile all Sellers’ cash banks and credit card transactions at the end of Sellers’ shifts.

  • Ensure all necessary daily reports are present and reviewed in the vault at the end of a working day.

  • Responsible for vault closing and security in absence of management

  • Assists with deposit pick-up and accurately logging transactions

  • Helps with troubleshooting and managing equipment

  • Assists Ticket Sellers during business hours and event both days and nights.

  • Assist with customer service-related issues at Ticket Office windows.

  • Assist sellers whenever necessary with tasks including selling, printing, troubleshooting and managing tickets.

  • Responsible for training part-time staff and assisting with training documents

  • Monitor adherence of all applicable rules and guidelines for sellers, maintaining a professional and positive environment.

  • Assists with communication via verbal and in writing when it comes to offer and policies changes.

  • Perform ticket sales for concerts, sporting events, family, POPS! & Broadway shows.

  • Manage Ticket Office main phone line and email account, responding to all inquiries in a timely manner with exceptional customer service.

  • Manage Account Manager Emails as required.

  • Assists with Best of Broadway and North Charleston POPS! Subscribers with general inquiries, renewals, upgrades, and exchanges.

  • Assists customers with group sales inquiries and transactions.

  • Process ADA ticket orders requested by phone or email in a timely manner.

  • Handle/reconcile large sums of money utilizing prescribed cash management controls.

  • Perform related clerical work and other duties as required or requested.

  • Updates database as needed and files various records and reports.

  • Ensure any important information/changes required to perform duties as a supervisor is provided to part-time supervisors.

  • Completes various projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous Ticketmaster experience (Archtics, Host, TM1) preferred.

  • Operate Ticketmaster software and a personal computer using Excel, Windows and Microsoft Office software.

  • Cash handling skills required.

  • Must be customer service oriented and computer competent while working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enjoy working with the general public.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of ticket office procedures.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy workload that can present stressful situations.

  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Organize and prioritize work deadlines.

  • Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.

  • Ability to stay current with training on new techniques and systems.

  • Must be detail oriented and organized.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

  • Possess great customer service skills

  • Possess computer proficiency and overall ability to input data into a computer terminal in order to record sales transactions.

  • Possess the ability to accurately count money and make change.
