Verity Installation Project Manager in North Carolina
Verity is the global leader in autonomous indoor drone systems. Our integrated inventory tracking system enables zero-error warehousing for big box retailers, third-party logistics providers, and manufacturers. The system is used by industry leaders around the world, including DSV, Maersk, and KeHe.
We are seeking to grow our Delivery team with an Installation Project Manager. The successful candidate will lead the planning and installation of our systems at customer sites and will assist in improving our processes so that we can deploy systems better each time. This position will require frequent travel to customers' sites.
What you'll do
Working in our Deployment team with Installation Project Managers and Field Service Engineers, you will be responsible for the following:
Manage the entire commissioning project of our autonomous drone systems in facilities around the world; from the initiation, planning, commissioning through to the closure of the project
Interface with customers for technical aspects across the entire installation project
Hands-on installation of complex systems including training customer operators on-site
Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of deployment and training processes, and user documentation
Provide issue reports to the Development team, based on issues encountered on-site and customer interactions
What you bring
Project management experience with installation of integrated systems spanning hardware and software
Knowledge on network configurations and troubleshooting
Some CAD experience is required (e.g., be able to interpret and modify customer technical drawings)
Able to manage multiple projects seamlessly
Willingness to learn new tools on a regular basis
Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive work style
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
Willingness to travel up to 40-60% internationally as well as work on weekends and nights during those visits on a regular basis
