Stark State College Adjunct, Accounting & Finance in North Canton, Ohio

Prepare and deliver day, evening, hybrid, and online courses at both main campus and Akron campus. Complete required training as assigned, Maintain open communications with students, course facilitators, and the department chair. Participate in activities that support the mission of the department, the division, and the college. Additional responsibilities include assessing student performance, including electronic submission of never attends, early alerts, mid-term grades, and final grades by the required date. Maintain student records in the LMS system. Provide records of grades and attendance as requested by the department chair. A bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or in a directly related field from an accredited institution is required. A master's degree in related field from an accredited institution is preferred. Teaching experience and in-field work experience are preferred. Eligibility to teach the majority of the courses in Accounting & Finance requires that you possess a certification such as CPA or CMA. Individuals with a license to practice law would be eligible to teach the Business Law and Ethics course.
