Job Overview:

We are seeking a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of efficient and accurate CMM measurement programs for a wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex CMM measurement programs using software such as PC-DMIS or CALYPSO• Lead technical discussions with design, quality assurance, and production teams to determine appropriate measurement techniques and procedures• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment and oversee these activities for junior team members• Analyze and interpret measurement data to ensure accuracy and consistency, and provide recommendations for improvement• Provide technical support and training to operators and resolve any technical issues related to CMM equipment and programs• Continuously improve CMM measurement processes through analysis, optimization, and implementation of new technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related field• 6-9 years of experience in CMM programming and metrology• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)• Competency using PC-DMIS• Ability to lead technical discussions and provide technical guidance to junior team members• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Proficiency in programming languages such as PC-DMIS or CALYPSO.• Must be able to communicate effectively with manufacturing engineering, precision inspection personnel, and shop floor employees• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
