South Side Sales & Service Small Engine Service Technician/Mechanic in North Adams, Massachusetts

We are seeking a small engine mechanic to add to our team immediately. The primary responsibility of the Service Technician is to effectively diagnose, service and/or repair assigned equipment while maintaining maximum profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Basic job responsibilities include: - Properly diagnose, repair, recondition, service and assemble equipment for our company and our customers. - Effectively diagnose problems and properly estimate repairs. Able to navigate and use electronic work orders including formulating estimates, writing thorough repair diagnosis and repair notes, ability to use time clock, etc. - Perform general maintenance on company owned vehicles. Maintain professional and technical knowledge of changes in equipment, technology and models by attending educational workshops and service schools. Candidate must have experience in working on small engines including: single cylinder and twin cylinder gas engines, be able to effectively work on snow blowers, lawn mowers, generators, and more. Experience with 2 cycle engine is necessary. Candidate should be a self starter and must have ability work effectively use computers. Candidate must have a valid driver\'s license and transportation. Work Week: M-F 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Saturdays available 8:00AM to 12:00PM
