Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Trades Recruiter in the Machinery Manufacturing industry, based in Norfolk, Virginia. In this role, you will be a part of our team tasked with managing recruitment within the trades sector, utilizing a variety of systems including Applicant Track System and Paycom, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract suitable candidates for trades roles within the machinery manufacturing sector

• Utilize Applicant Track System and Paycom for managing recruitment processes

• Conduct Human Resources (HR) administration tasks related to recruitment and onboarding

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and create compelling job descriptions

• Leverage various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events to source candidates

• Conduct initial screening of applications and coordinate interviews

• Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate details

• Handle inquiries from candidates regarding open positions and the application process

• Monitor the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments

• Ensure compliance with all legal and organizational policies related to recruitment. Requirements • Proven experience in the field of Trades Recruiting within the Machinery Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in using Applicant Track System for managing recruitment processes

• Experience in using Paycom software for HR management and payroll

• Strong skills in Recruiting, able to source, screen and interview potential candidates effectively

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders

• Ability to adapt to changing recruitment trends and industry developments

• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement

• Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
