Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Sr. Info Assurance Engineer to support a large Naval program sitting out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii or Norfolk, Virginia. As a Sr. Info Assurance Engineer, this person will join a team that is the liaison to the cyber and network engineering teams assisting with maintaining boundary equipment and meeting project plans of actions & milestones. They will be critical resource to implement solutions from the cyber security teams, maintaining firewalls and load balancers, assisting with escalated network tickets from the Network Operations Center, and ensure devices are ready to always meet compliance standards. Primary duties include assisting with the implementing policies, ensuring devices are audited and within STIG compliance, maintaining network infrastructure, pre and post inspection support, adjudicating findings and deploying, Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) compliance, and assisting the team with other network related problems as needed to Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN). s well as troubleshooting Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network-related problems. Additional duties include administering LAN/BAN/WANs, scheduling conversions and cutovers, and coordinating with all responsible users and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer-integrated networks.

Skills and Requirements

  • IAT LVL III Certification (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, etc.) along with Cisco Certification

  • 10+ years of networking experience or IA experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study

  • Team player attitude and flexible

  • 4+ years of experience with policy implementation and auditing

  • Strong F5 Load Balancer experience

  • Strong STIG Implementation and compliance experience

  • Palo Alto or Juniper Firewall experience

  • VPN experience

  • 5+ Years with WAN/LAN/BAN administration support

  • 5+ years integrating networks in a large-scale environment

  • Experience implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current network solutions. null
