We are currently seeking a Naval Aviation Carrier Requirements Principal Analyst to join our CNAF team. This position is in located in Norfolk, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support CNAL N82 Aircraft Carrier Requirements.

• Analyze CVN and air integration requirements.

• Draft data-driven recommendations to the CVN-78 Class ITT and Project Focus Groups.

• Prepare semi-annual briefings for the CVN-78 ITT Executive Steering Group on risks and risks and mitigations.

• Lead the PFG Working Group, overseeing quarterly meetings on designs, updates, budgets, and progress for all areas of CVN support.

• Review and analyze plans for CVN-78 Class aircraft carriers and related shipboard systems operational tests.

• Assess monthly impact to transition progress and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Analyze and recommend new technology applicability to CVN-68 and CVN-78 classes.

• Prepare planning documentation for the annual CVN NARG conference and post-conference summaries.

• Provide logistical support for the annual TPP including planning, message dissemination, and post-conference summaries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, science, mathematics, or equivalent.

• Served on a CVN in the capacity of Department Head or Propulsion Assistant with in-depth knowledge of nuclear-powered aircraft carrier operations including engineering, propulsion, combat systems, and maintenance required (Surface Warfare Nuclear Qualified, Combat Systems, Engineering, or Air Department experience

• Served as requirements officer on a major Naval staff such as Chief of Naval operations, US Fleet Forces Command, US Pacific Fleet, Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific, Commander Naval Air Forces Atlantic.

• Proven ability in advanced analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and business solutions.

• Practical knowledge of Navy aircraft carrier requirements definition, the aircraft carrier introduction and transition processes, the CNAF MAP, and the PPBE process.

The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
