As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll be joining an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command’s onsite CLF Load Management Program Global Stock Control (GSC Support).

What you’ll get to do:

  • Become part of a team conducting global stock control operations for 35 MSC CLF ships and two warehouses via various sustainment and inventory functions.

  • Perform standard and nonstandard trial stock reorder processing, tracking, and expediting of Combat Logistics Force (CLF) load material.

  • Provide material offload direction, transfer of materials, and assistance to Fleet units as well as Fleet Freight Tracking (FFT) as required.

  • Provide guidance to assist afloat units with Consolidated Afloat Requisitioning Guide Overseas (CARGO) material and inventory management, and shelf-life management as needed.

  • Provide guidance to assist warehouses with inventory management and coordinating transfer of materials to CLF ships.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 4 years of experience providing ship acquisition or fleet sustainment logistics support services to MSC, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard, or commercial ship operating companies

  • Prior experience as a MSC Civmar, active-duty Navy supply/logistics rating/designator, or contracting position in the logistics field a plus

  • Experience using Microsoft Suite
