Selected candidates for hire must be willing to work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. This is not a remote position. Must be able to obtain Secret-level clearance from the DoD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking to hire a team of motivated and creative mid-level Instructional System Designers (ISD).

You’ll work under the direction of Sr ISDs and Media Developers in creating training content for the Fire Controlman Aegis courses under the Navy Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning program.

You’ll create Lesson Design Strategies (LDS), support Live Government Reviews, and build On-Screen Lessons (OSL) in a Learning Content Management System (LCMS). Additionally, you’ll review training content to ensure accuracy and provide design feedback.

More About the Role:

  • Review Government Furnished Information.

  • Support meetings with SMEs and Instructional Designers.

  • Research and gather missing content.

  • Create and edit lesson design documents and ensure they are meeting design standards.

  • Create Lesson Plans and Training Guides.

  • Experience with using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience in AIM CPM/LOM.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborate with a diverse team.

  • Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL Projects.

  • (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Secret-level security clearance. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.

  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • General understanding of SCORM and Learning Management Systems.
