Selected candidates for hire must be willing to work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. This is not a remote position. Must be able to obtain Secret-level clearance from the DoD.

What You’ll Get to Do :

CACI is seeking a talented and knowledgeable Fire Controlman Aegis (FCA) Subject Matter Expert to share in our passion for creating innovative learning solutions for our Navy clients. You'll provide subject matter expertise for the development of PC Simulations for the Aegis Radar System SPY-1B/D course under the Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program. You’ll work closely with a talented team of Unity Developers and 3D Animators outlining and explaining functional requirements of the SPY-1B/D. You should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to think creatively and solve problems, as well as collaborate effectively with government and military staff with little supervision.

More About the Role :

  • Review Government Furnished Information.

  • Assist with researching and designing complex PC Simulations.

  • Support design meetings.

  • Review drawings and 3D images to validate accuracy.

  • Maintain a fresh, broad, and imaginative view of the learning content.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years related work experience.

  • Expertise with SPY-1B/D signal processing, transmitter, and Remote Data Terminals (RDT).

  • Prior experience working with a training team.

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Active Secret security clearance.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :

  • Aegis Weapons Supervisor (AWS).

  • Combat System Officer of the Watch (CSOOW).

  • Navy Instructor (NEC 9502).
