Stevenson Consulting, a full-service engineering consulting firm operating in the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf region of the US since 1984, is seeking a Construction Services Manager to join our Norfolk, VA team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational management of a branch office

  • Able to step in and assist field personnel with construction testing and inspections         

  • Development and implementation of the construction quality control programs

  • Assisting with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation

  • Recruitment and development of professional, technical, and administrative personnel

  • Client maintenance

  • Project management and Profit & Loss responsibility

  • Assisting with invoicing and collections

  • Enforcement of company operating procedures and policies

  • Subconsultant management

  • Highly organized, self-motived individual with proven leadership skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices 

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or in Construction Management

  • Experience with g eotechnical and construction materials testing services preferred
