Stevenson Consulting, Inc. Construction Services Manager in Norfolk, Virginia
Stevenson Consulting, a full-service engineering consulting firm operating in the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf region of the US since 1984, is seeking a Construction Services Manager to join our Norfolk, VA team.
Responsibilities:
Operational management of a branch office
Able to step in and assist field personnel with construction testing and inspections
Development and implementation of the construction quality control programs
Assisting with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation
Recruitment and development of professional, technical, and administrative personnel
Client maintenance
Project management and Profit & Loss responsibility
Assisting with invoicing and collections
Enforcement of company operating procedures and policies
Subconsultant management
Highly organized, self-motived individual with proven leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or in Construction Management
Experience with g eotechnical and construction materials testing services preferred
