Amentum Configuration Manager Analyst II in Norfolk, Virginia

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Manager Analyst II to assist our Navy customer with systems and technical engineering services. We will implement your expertise through a disciplined and rigorous Systems Engineering (SE) process across all mission areas of the system under development and sustainment.

Using your prowess and experience, help our customer define, document, and follow an open systems approach using modular design, standards-based interfaces, and widely supported consensus-based standards in hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that comprise the specific system.

Configuration Manager Analyst II Responsibilities Include :

  • Analyzing changes of product design to determine the effect on the end-product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.

  • Coordinating with customers and developers to determine a process for change reporting.

  • Reviewing released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School or General Educational Development (GED) Diploma.

  • At least four (4) years of full-time professional experience working in configuration management including two years of full-time experience (within the last 10 years) in configuration management of modern, large-scale computer systems.

  • Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
