SOLUTE Careers 1336 - Engineer, Electrical/Electronics III in Norfolk, Virginia

Sigma Defense is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer III to work on an upcoming Navy contract in the Norfolk, VA area.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements

  • 6 years of full-time professional experience working as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer.

  • 4 years in professional experience in each of the following skillsets/disciplines:

  • Performing systems engineering activities on Cryptologic Carry-On Equipment (COE) or Electronic Warfare (EW) Programs involving fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence programs ashore and afloat.

  • Demonstrated engineering experience on U.S. Navy and warfare systems and their systems integration process as it relates to distribution systems impacts, mission, performance, and interoperability impacts.

  • 3 years of experience professional experience in each of the following skillsets/disciplines:

  • COE/EW concepts and operations deployment.

  • Radio Frequency (RF) design and analysis (e.g. propagation prediction measurement, receiver modeling, analysis, and design, detection and signal characterization processing, non-cooperative demodulation processing for signals of interest, and antenna array modeling).

  • Operating Systems experience in Windows and Linux.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI clearance.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering discipline.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 annually
