Aventure Staffing Recovery Specialist in Norfolk, Nebraska

Recovery Specialist

$16-$20/hr

Rotating Days 3pm-11pm

Do you have your Med-Aid, active license, and want to be apart of changing people's lives for the better? As a Recovery Specialist, you will be actively working with people on their road to recovery. You will be documenting and assuring compliance of the house and program rules/procedures. If you have at least one year's worth of experience in the human services field and seeking your next fulfilling career, apply with us today!

Responsibilities:

  • Complete intakes with new client admissions

  • Complete proper documentation and orientation of new client

  • Completing discharge duties such as inventory, instructions, and compiling any information needed

  • Conducting regular checks on clients

  • Drug screening if needed

  • Suggesting new ways to handle situations in an escalated event

  • Observe and document self-administration of medication

  • Transport and schedule clients to appointments and meetings

  • Supervise community meetings

Requirements:

  • Completed 40 hour Med-Aid Class

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • At least 21 years of age

  • Willing to obtain an annual flu shot

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology/sociology or 1 year of coursework in the human services field
