Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworker to work in Norcross, MN. From: 04/01/2024 to 11/15/2024 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon. - Tues. 9 hrs./day, Wed. - Sat. 8 hrs./day. 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As required in Minnesota, all work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/25/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Operating large farm equipment and machinery much of which is equipped with GPS such as tractor, sprayer for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as corn, sugar beets; mixing and loading applicants to be sprayed on crops; manually repairing and cleaning equipment; driving truck or tractor with trailer attached to move crops or equipment to designated locations; driving farm vehicles; general farm maintenance on equipment and farm worksite. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements. Must be able to obtain a driver's license (Class D) following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No minimum education is required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
