This position will partner with Lead or Principal Subcontract Specialist to drive the end to end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts. Starting with proposal, fulfillment of the sales order, and ending with negotiating subcontracts or long-term purchase orders with suppliers. The Subcontract Specialist II will deliver compliant FAR15 package to the government, work closely with the Pricing organization and work with the program to fulfill subcontracts aligned with the program.

  • Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle

  • DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)

  • Build strong negotiation positions for contract and execute on those

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance

  • Due to contractual requirements, must be a US Citizen

WE VALUE

  • Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Strong negotiation skills and processes.

  • Supply chain experience.

  • Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry.

  • Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.

  • Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD).

  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions.

The salary range for this position is $61,800 - $92,800. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
