The Commercial and Industrial HVAC Service Journeyman provides HVAC services to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers including repairs, maintenance, inspections, and installations of HVAC systems.     Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Completed an Apprentice School or a 5-year combination of Journeyman-level experience

  • Steady work history with 5+ years in the HVAC business

  • Has earned a Universal EPA License

  • Can pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in a drug-free workplace

  • Has a current driver’s license and an impeccable driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Local Union 72 membership or willingness and ability to join Local Union 72

  • Working proficiency with computers (i.e. Smartphone, iPad, laptop)

    Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or higher

  • Star Certification

  • OSHA 30 Certification

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position, working a normal schedule of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, plus on-call opportunities. Work will typically be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, but can change daily based on customer needs. Standby duties are required for this position. Overtime and irregular hours are frequent. Daily travel to greater Atlanta, GA area service locations is required.

    Scale or higher, depending on experience
