Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of developers

  • Model-Coach-Care for the team and be the role model

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional requirements  

  • Design & develop APIs and user experiences on Big Data.  

  • Own technical design of components with overall systems view.  

  • Define cost estimates and execution plan for features.   

  • Design, code, test and deploy features using CI/CD model.  

  • Define metrics and alerts to monitor health of services. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of commercial software development.  

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field.  

  • Great coding and design skills (C#, C++ or Java)  

  • Strong communication skills in English.  

*Preferred Qualifications: *

  • Expertise with C#  

  • Solid understanding of Engineering Excellence processes and requirements.  

  • Experience with Cloud Platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud.  

  • Experience with Azure Data Explorer, Azure App Services, Azure Functions.  

  • Experience with sovereign or geographically restricted clouds.  

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment systems and paradigms.  

  • Familiarity with distributed systems.  

  • Experience with web front end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript)   

  • Detail oriented design, coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.  

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
