Description

The engineer will be a part of WFC Team

• Participates in development, defect analysis, impact analysis activities and ensure quality and conformance to product standards.

• Develop expertise on workforce management domain and underlying architecture of the product.

• Interpret informal requirements descriptions and detail them for implementation by the team

• Leads activities for decomposing product requirements into tasks and associated estimates

• Keep updated with the technology concepts and ensure compliance to best practices for coding

• Participates in code and design reviews to ensure quality and conformance to product standards

• Achieve and maintain individual Sprint velocity.

Qualifications

o Graduate/ Post Graduate in Computer Science with at least 60% throughout academics

o 5 - 8yrs' IT experience

o More than 3yrs of relevant experience

o Strong hands-on experience with Java, REST API, Web Services, XML

o Exp. in Object-oriented analysis, design and programming, database modeling, etc.

o Expertise in Javascript, Angular, JQuery

o Good experience with Unit Testing processes and tools (JUnit)

o Hands-on experience with Design Patterns

o Exposure to database techniques/tools such as data modeling, Oracle, SQL, etc

o Conversant with platforms, tools and frameworks used in application development

o Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology and TDD (Test Driven Development)

o Excellent Debugging / Troubleshooting skills for quick problem solving

o Should have experience in solving java and database performance issues.

o Good Communication and Collaboration Skills.
