Job Description Summary

As a member of Quality team, Lead Product PQM works closely with the Lead Project PQM and responsible for nuclear projects. This role requires knowledge of pump, turbine and its auxiliaries, it also requires developed and strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant manufacturing process.

Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  1. Creates contract specific Inspection and test plan, Quality plan.

  2. Manage approval of documentation from customer i.e ITP, QP, Procedures etc.

  3. Follow up for customer witness point and other customer documents/ interfaces (EoMR, managing OTD documents).

  4. Quality clarifications with GE factories and suppliers during RFQ-Phase

  5. Supports supplier kick off meetings and pre-Inspection meetings (pre-requisite to manufacturing start)

  6. Verifies, follows, and checks the content of NCRs (description, severity, cost, and engineering feedback) as per defined regulations including where necessary the issuance of the Quality Alerts, contributes to related RCA.

  7. Manages notifications to Customer and follows up for further steps (if the inspection is passed) – Ensures the notification for inspection attendance à PQM (GE factory); SQE (External suppliers)

  8. CFSI (Counterfeit, fraudulent, and Suspect items) Verification and controls

  9. Verifies on-time delivery of quality documentation from GE Factories and External suppliers.

  10. Consolidates/ Compiles and verifies the EoMR (quality documentation data package).

NON-PROJECT

  1. Standards development: PQAP, EOMR Template, IT Program for products

  2. Training on various Q topics - to various functions (e.g., nuclear safety).

  3. Tools optimization/ development/ implementation - to fit our needs/ alignment/ improvement

  4. Internal audits/ follow up, coordination of Customer audits on request/ Certification Provides standard Inspection and Test Program (if required).

GENERIC

  1. Manages or/and plans Internal Project Audit Program over its execution period (if required).

  2. Ensures the implementation (governance) of the Customer Experience Program (including handle customer survey and customer complaints concerning quality issues)à Key Contact person to the Customer

  3. Action tracking: tracking and trending - statistics/ analysis/ actions implemented and effective (example: chasing long aging NCRs, CoPQ, internal audits actions, RCAs, CX etc.)

Education & Trainings

  1. Mandatory (MUST) – Degree/ Diploma in engineering – Mechanical / Electrical.

  2. NDT & Welding knowledge.

Professional Experience: -

  1. At least 5+ years relevant experience in Quality for Pump/Steam turbine/ heavy manufacturing industry.

  2. Experience/ knowledge of Fabrication, machining, casting, forging process.

  3. Knowledge of welding, NDT.

  4. Good English communication skills

  5. Familiarity with Pump/Turbine construction & manufacturing process.

  6. Experience in quality management, NCR handling, RCA, and continual Improvement of QMS.

  7. knowledge of international standard and practices.

Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)

  1. Ability to plan, organize himself

  2. Exposure of working in global environment

  3. Experience with Pump/Turbine project as PQM.

  4. Learning capability, openness to innovations, flexibility, and self-criticism.
